Respect Initiative Games

The GAA through its Coaching & Games has promoted a respect initiative among young players since 2010. Tomorrow at half time we have two games that embrace and demonstrate what is involved.
How does it work?
• Players and coaches line up behind their manager before and after the game to shake hands with the referee, opposing players and coaches
• Referees communicate decisions to players in an effective manner
• Each unit must strive to achieve maximum participation for all players
• Players from all backgounds are encouraged and given the opportunity to take part in Gaelic Games
